App Store Connect and ASO

From an ASO perspective, App Store Connect is where most optimization work happens. You update keywords, upload new screenshots, edit descriptions, and track results through the built-in analytics dashboard.

The analytics section provides conversion rate data, keyword source reports, and territorial breakdowns that reveal which optimizations deliver results and where to focus next.

Access and Roles

App Store Connect supports multiple roles: Account Holder, Admin, App Manager, Developer, Marketing, Finance, and Sales. For ASO teams, the Marketing role provides access to edit metadata and view analytics without access to code signing or financial data.
